Hot-dipped galvanized Wire

Galvanized wire is classified into hot-dip galvanized wire and electro-galvanized (cold galvanized) wire. Hot-dip galvanized wire is produced by immersing steel wire in molten zinc, forming a thicker and more durable coating, while electro-galvanized wire provides a smoother surface with lighter zinc protection. Both types offer good toughness, flexibility, and stable mechanical performance.

With zinc coating levels reaching up to 350 g/m², galvanized wire provides excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in various environments. It is widely used in wire mesh production, fencing systems, construction binding, agricultural applications, and industrial processing, making it a reliable material for manufacturers, contractors, and distributors.

Features:
Hot-dip galvanized is immersed in the molten zinc melt, the production speed is fast, the coating
is thick but not uniform, the market allows the minimum thickness of 45 microns, up to 300
microns or more Color darker, consumption of zinc metal andmore, with the base metal to form
infiltration layer, corrosion resistance, outdoor hot galvanized can be maintained for decades.

As the resulting coating is thicker, hot-dip galvanized has better protective properties than
galvanized zinc and is therefore an important protective coating for steel parts for harsh working
conditions.
