Monel wire mesh

Monel wire mesh, similar to Inconel wire mesh, is also a kind of woven mesh, which is woven from nickel-based alloy wire. Monel is an alloy of chemical elements such as nickel and copper. According to different chemical elements, Monel wire mesh has Monel 400 and Monel K500 materials.

Alloy 400 has excellent corrosion resistance in flowing seawater. It also resists stress corrosion cracking. Alloy 400 is the most widely used monel material.

K500 alloy also has excellent corrosion resistance like Monel 400, but Monel K500 has added aluminum, which allows Monel K500 to provide greater tensile strength and hardness than Monel 400.

Monel wire mesh includes fine weave mesh with mesh number greater than 80 mesh and coarse mesh mesh with mesh number not more than 80 mesh.
