There are two types of external wall insulation grid cloth, one is fiberglass mesh, another one is steel mesh.
1. Fiberglass Mesh:
The fiberglass mesh is woven from glass fibers and then coated with plastic. The fiberglass mesh is pided into two types: medium alkali and alkali resistant. The medium alkali is generally used for coating finishes and insulation, generally g/㎡; the alkali resistant is generally ceramic tile for veneer, it is generally above gram/㎡. Alkali-resistant mesh must contain zirconium dioxide and titanium dioxide to be alkali-resistant.
2. Steel wire mesh:
The main purpose of steel mesh used in exterior wall insulation is to tiles. In fact, the alkali resistance of steel mesh has not been tested in practice. Steel mesh is pided into hot-dip galvanized mesh and cold-galvanized mesh. The post-hot-dip galvanized mesh is the one used in exterior wall insulation, that is, first welding and then hot-dip galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanizing is to put the mesh into a molten zinc solution for galvanizing. This is the most alkali resistant. Others are galvanized first and then soldered, so that the solder joints are prone to rust and are not alkali-resistant.
