Preparation of the raw material: The first step in making stainless steel wire is the preparation of the raw material. In general, the main stainless steel material is bare stainless steel, usually a stainless steel strip or stainless steel rod.
 

Melting: Place a metal billet in a furnace to melt it. At high temperatures, the raw materials will slowly melt into a liquid metal state.

Hot rolling: After hot rolling of a continuous steel billet, it is rolled through a hot rolling mill. At high temperatures, the blank melts and is then drawn several times to gradually reduce the cross-section to form a steel wire of the desired diameter.
 

Pickling: There may be oxide scale or other contaminants on the hot stainless steel wire It needs to be pickled to remove the oxide layer from the surface and make the surface ho strong and clean.
 

Cold drawing: Pickled metal wire may need to go through a cold drawing process, where the wire is then pulled through a cold drawing machine to further reduce the diameter and improved surface quality.
 

Annealing: In order to reduce the hardness of steel wire and improve its plasticity, annealing is usually performed to bring the steel wire to the desired strength and hardness by controlling the annealing process and cool.
 

Surface treatment: Finally, according to various requirements, steel wire can be surface treated, such as galvanizing, spraying, etc., to increase the corrosion resistance of the surface or to modify the surface properties.
 

Through the above process steps, stainless steel wires of different diameters and specifications can be manufactured for applications in various fields, such as machine manufacturing, construction, chemical industry, electronics, etc.
